Designer brand drew inspiration from sea foam, and deep sea creatures.
Russian fashion industry is his own, quite unlike anything that way. Someone is betting on minimalism, someone- on design based on the Russian suit, and someone is trying to find themselves in the constructivism and the avant-garde. In Patriotic fashion, there is one special niche, which employs quite a large number of designers. Very feminine and romantic dresses with a slight touch of retro, who are happy to wear a star of show business, and a young mother on maternity leave, businesswoman and student. One of these brands, the brand Laroom, created by Eugenia Legkodymova.
In the season spring-summer 2017 Eugene drew inspiration from a nautical theme. On the catwalk you could see a lot of allusions to it. The finest white lace, different textures – sea foam, blue-green inserts – waves, the layering of ruffles and frills – weightless jellyfish.
The spring collection is very gentle and girlish, largely thanks to the fluid fabrics and details in the style of 60-ies and 70-ies. The line includes light tunics with sea print, translucent blouses, lace jackets, shorts and pants, silk-linen, fishnet dresses and dresses for each day with turn-down collar and more.
“The Navy theme is often present in my collections, as I spent my childhood on the coast. Sea spring-summer 2017 will be remembered with special tenderness and lightness of the underwater world of fantasy and graceful nymphs,” – said Eugene Legkodymova.
