The actor who played one of the roles in the second season of “Mom” admitted that his on-screen hero is the perfect man for thousands of Russian women. “StarHit” Lavigine asked how he managed to combine shooting the film with the education of his son and why he liked to work with his wife.

The role of the charismatic chefs Canopy from the TV series “Kitchen” is brought to Sergey Lavygin popularity. For several years, the actor starred in several major film productions and also participated in several theatre productions. Sergey, the new season of “Mom” you play Romonica, which can be described by the word “henpecked”. It is fashionable to blame modern men: say, aren’t infantile, so women have to shoulder everything on yourself. How do you feel about these conversations?

We are currently shooting another project – the second season of “Hotel Eleon”. You find it difficult to switch from one series to another?

Now the theme hotels on the rise, was the TV series “Hotel “Babylon”, film “Hotel “Grand Budapest”. Watched?
Only saw the movie and I can say that for me is a completely different story. First, “Hotel “Grand Budapest” – feature film, and, secondly, it is a surreal, and we have a serial sitcom with elements of dramedy. Our project is more about life, about people, so “Eleon” – a more current version of the hotel.
How do you feel about the fact that in recent years food has become a kind of fetish? Now flourishing cooking shows and channels, removable series about chefs…
I like that the food is necessary for the functioning of the human body, and also brings pleasure and aesthetic joy. Why not? So I eat with gusto, but the pictures of food on Instagram don’t post.—
In the TV series “Hotel Eleon” a Ukrainian TV presenter Olga Freimut, which, according to the story, came to check in, the hotel is an obvious reference to Helen Volatile. Do you approve of this kind of show?
Like it or not, but people like to look at the so-called “scandals, intrigues and investigations”, to watch people in acute circumstances. And glows to the limit, and manifest an unexpected human qualities. It is a passion, and from the point of view of television, select the correct course. And with success, as the saying goes, do not argue.—
After you have your role you do not come up with the idea to open in Moscow own restaurant?
Maybe someday, but as yet such ideas arose. I like what I’m doing now, and do not really want to devote my life to other professions.—
And in restaurants you might give a sample of something delicious?

In the series you play for a couple with wife, actress Anne of Begovoy. How did you find working with your wife?

In one interview you admitted that I prefer my mom’s kitchen. And like your wife?
I was lucky! Like when Anya’s cooking, especially soup, and don’t like it when released performances, because then it from morning to night, rehearsing in the theater and she had no time to prepare.

Recently you became a father… Felt a change after the birth of a son, Theodore?
I became sentymentalna. But the birth of a child covers all the events in my life. On Thursday, the fourth at half past three in the hospital number four was born Fyodor, named four letters. I still don’t remember, maybe the room number was also four…
When you load a movie you still have time to go on stage. Do you plan more time to devote to the theater or you are not interested?
I never abandoned the theater, for me it is important. I always wanted to play in Mtyuze and to work with such great Directors as Henrietta Yanovskaya and Kama Ginkas. But twelve years have passed, and there was a need to move on. Now there’s “Players” – the play at the wonderful play of Nikolai Gogol, where, incidentally, plays and Roma Polanski, my colleague on the series.—
You seem like a sociable and cheerful person. And there are days when sadness overcomes?
Of course, there are no people without a bad mood. The main thing is not to spoil their mood of others and remember that this is temporary and will soon pass. And if you want to speed up the process, work out – very helpful. For example, you can drive in football or Cycling.—
