Before the opening of the 16th international festival of cinematographic debuts “Spirit of fire” in Khanty-Mansiysk came a big “team” movie stars that you met me at the airport with bread and salt, cranberries, pine nuts and vodka.
This year’s festival is dedicated to love in all its forms — love for
life, love the Motherland, love for the children. But the opening of the festival was painted in a sad tone. Because it was dedicated to the memory of the key figures of the festival, its creative Director, Dmitry Solovyov (son of the President of the festival Sergei Solovyov). 43-year-old Dmitry died a fortnight ago and his father decided to open the forum to come up on stage and at home to conduct intimate conversation with the audience from the first row of the stalls — the ceremony was very personal and included live vocals,
choreography performed by students of VGIK workshop of Sergey Solovyov.
