Tennis player Serena Williams confessed that, in addition to charming daughters, gave her pregnancy and childbirth.

The famous athlete for the first time became a mother at 36 and the pregnancy did not it easy. Williams was faced with complications, including during the birth itself. However, all of this, oddly enough, brought her only benefit Serena thankful for all the trials.

“I didn’t expect my birth story and all the difficulties that have arisen in the process, will cause such a response from a large number of women, especially black women. According to the centers for disease control, black women are three times as likely white to die from complications during pregnancy or childbirth. Let me explain: every mother, regardless of nationality or origin, deserve a healthy pregnancy and childbirth. My personal experience has not been wonderful, but this is my experience, and I’m glad I went through all of that. It made me stronger. Now I appreciate all women – no matter they have children or not. We are strong!!!” – wrote the star on his page.
