In the last few years, Robert Downey Jr. rarely pays attention to serious movies, preferring action and Comedy.

But Director Richard Linklater (“Boyhood”) decided to change that and suggested the performer of “Iron man” role in his new project, titled “Man of the People”.

The plot for the film were not invented. It is based on a story that actually took place to be.

We will focus on two doctors who have become famous and made a fortune with counterfeit medicines, populism and radio. Who will be the counterpart Downey Jr. on the set is unknown.
