Vyacheslav Machnow, better known as the Purulent and glory to the CPSU, is popular among fans of hip-hop battles, but a wider audience is just beginning with him. Recently, the 27-year-old native of Khabarovsk was among the experts the new vocal show “Success” of the channel STS. Machnow selects artists who dream of a career in show business. With him in the seats of the jury is Jane and Philip, and leading the project began Vera Brezhnev. Your cover with Kirkorov started to repost and discuss in social networks. Many were not ready to see you together with Philip. How do you feel about that?
I liked it. It turned out funny. And the public’s reaction were also hilarious. I’ve seen a lot of pictures, for example, I have the phone image on which Kirkorov with our faces swapped. As to the conviction, that people in General tend to criticize, so that’s fine.

I wonder if you are watching Russian pop music? Often listen to it?
No, I guess. When I’m in a cab, listen to different pop hits. Can’t say that I like them, basically, these songs bring me rejection. I am sure that we have enough live an interesting “pop”. It before, in the 90s, people could sing: “In the bag of cigarettes, chain, tutorial, and diary, you’re coming with brass knuckles to school, you hide not used”. And now everything is too polished, in pop music there is no existence, something real, she’s too professional. So it’s boring.—
I can assume that project participants include many of those who fits your description.

Who are you listening from Russian artists?
All that had my taste — punk rock, electronic music, psicodelico, of course, hip hop. I don’t consider myself a fan of any one genre. In General, I like old Russian pop and modern — no.

Don’t you think an unexpected that a woman battled with a man?

Well, we would put up with it. As with something lame, but necessary. So you can live. If the street is not pointing a finger, everything is fine. Otherwise, I have somehow sadly. There is a feeling of existential helplessness, of powerlessness in the machine of media resources, which devour of the situation. And so, in principle, not bad. More or less. —

Of course, it happens that you get tired, and in Russia, and everywhere, a lot of boorish, familiar people. But there are pleasant moments. Different. —
And how relatives reacted to your participation in the project? Still, “Success” with Kirkorov for many representatives of the senior generation much more understandable story than battle rap.
Started calling distant relatives from Khabarovsk, which have not been thinking about me over the years. They say: “Glory, we saw you on TV”. The usual thing, nothing. My closest is my mother and my sister, ofigevayu from happening. Moreover, laugh with me. But they are smart and understanding, so everything is fine.

It happens, but I don’t care. I have a girlfriend, she lives in Moscow, and in Petersburg I… I do not tire moving, I’m happy to be here. Sometimes it happens that she is jealous and says: “Come.” Recently, however, I often find myself in the capital, so we have not yet had any problems. Now I will go on tour for two months, let’s see how it can survive.—
But you to move to Moscow while don’t you think?
I like Petersburg. Beautiful city, more relaxed, and it is smaller than Moscow. No need to spend a lot of time on the road. —
It is clear that your heart is taken. But still — what kind of girls do you like? Do you have any preferences?
Like many, I like smart and beautiful. What I will say. I have a strange criteria, such as interest in the girls hair, ash colors or something like that. To be honest, for me is important, when you share my Hobbies, because otherwise it becomes boring. I’m still fairly selfish person — it is important that girls played with my toys.
