Director Sebastian Lelio (Gloria) takes on the adaptation of the debut novel by British writer Naomi Alderman’s “Disobedience”.

The creation of this project, the creators have recruited two Hollywood Actresses who will show love and passion on the screen.

It is known that in the film we see Rachel Weisz (“the Mummy”) and Rachel Makadams (“In the spotlight”).

In the story, a young Jewish woman comes to his Orthodox family after he finds out about his father’s death. With her arrival in a closed family circle starts, turmoil – all because the girl wakes up long-suppressed passion of love to his best friend.

The author of the script is assigned to Rebecca Lenkiewicz (“the Mystery diary of a call girl”).

The film is expected to begin in the first months of 2017. Premiere date has not yet been determined.
