April 20, found dead in Muscat, Oman, a popular Swedish DJ Tim Berling, aka Avicii. In the last years of his life he was suffering from acute pancreatitis, which was partly caused by excessive consumption of alcohol. He was only 28 years old.
Oman police investigated the case and decided that nothing criminal in the death of Avicii no. Authorities also determined the cause of death, but to tell reporters about her not going.
On the death of Tim said his spokeswoman Diana Baron: “With deep sorrow we announce that lost Tim Bergling also known as Avicii” — she wrote on twitter.
She also asked not to harass the family of the deceased. “We ask you to respect their need for privacy at this difficult time. No additional statements will not” — said the Baron.
Avicii is one of the few DJs that toured with world tours. His popular song, Wake Me Up and Levels were on the tops of the Billboard. Recently Avicii has been nominated for a prestigious music award Billboard Music Awards 2018 for album Avicii (01), released last year. He has collaborated with many stars such as Rita Ora and Madonna. And Nile Rodgers, with whom Tim has managed to build not only the workers but also warm friendly relations, called his younger brother.
“I’m in shock because I don’t know how this could happen from a medical point of view. Tim was one of the greatest composers I’ve ever worked, and I worked with some of the most brilliant musicians on the planet,” said Rogers in an interview with the Associated Press.
Rogers also said that he was suffering from acute pancreatitis due to excessive alcohol consumption, and after in 2014, he removed the gall bladder and Appendix, he canceled a series of shows for the sake of recovery. Perhaps operations and caused demise of the artist.
“It was a little sad for me because he promised me that he would stop drinking. One day before the show I saw him drunk. At that moment I thought, “Wow, man, what are you doing? What’s going on?” But we did the show, even though I was upset about what is happening. Despite all, we had a wonderful time. We were really close,” recalls Rogers.
Condolences have been expressed by the musicians, who collaborated with Avicii. “Devastated by the news of the departure of Avicii. It was one of my favorite moments of cooperation. Too young. The world was happier and better with his presence and art,” — wrote in his twitter, the band Imagine Dragons.
“So sad and tragic. Farewell, dear Tim,” — wrote in Instagram Madonna.
