One of the participants of the project “voice of the streets”, which goes on air of the channel “FRIDAY” became the rapper from Moscow Stas Shucks, also known as a GANGSBURG.k.a DOM1NO. Previously, the musician took part in battles VERSUS. For the first time the young man started making music and writing lyrics in the early 2000s. In an interview with “StarHit” Stas told about the work in a funeral home, relationships with loved ones and difficult periods in life.

Why did you decide to pass on the project “voice of the streets”?
First, this is a TV project. I didn’t come with a clear installation of win, but I would like to show themselves and gain new experience. There are experienced guys: the Chip And the Chip, Sapa13…—
When did you first hear rap music?
I was 13, then I bought a cassette of Caste. When I was eight, my brother brought me this kind of music on audio carriers. —
Where to take inspiration to write your lyrics?
Different. Sometimes I listen to local artists, the complex composition of Oxymoron, Smoky Mo.

How family members relate to your fascination with rap?
Brother used to listen to this kind of music. He appreciates my tracks, mother. First, they ironically looked at it. My mom is the best listener and loyal fan. Sometimes, when I come to visit her, I read to her REP. She’s a good critic, after her words do not want to quit. Mom wants me specifically to Express thoughts.—
Friends also wrote the rap?
From the company I first started doing the lyrics and was able to read them. Looked at me as warlock. In the end, I made the band, and we even rode across the country with concerts. In 20 years, I got almost 200 thousand per month. But in a crisis it had to close because of debts. Sometimes moonlighted in funeral homes, the mother: the coffins were carried. I was a member of the ritual hall, where people say goodbye to the deceased, closed the lid. Then carried to the grave or into the Elevator, which was carried into the crematorium. At first it was confusion, then it prevratilos in everyday life. In the 16 years I worked there, because I wanted money. More than a hundred men were buried.

And you were doing something illegal?

Two went to jail: one was recently released, another still to sit. I also tried a lot of things, fought a couple of dependencies. I was guided by my own fear, I had a desire to live. The people were divided into two camps, and they generate discussion. If I release a track, I write: “There is only one domiNo, this is Alex Chestnuts”. But now I’m rather used to this, I have it on hand. In 2006, I came up with a nickname as required for battle, not to write just Stas. I then saw the film “Domino”. It is a contract killer.
