This evening artistic Director
“Helikon-Opera” congratulated not only with a very bright premiere, but
birthday troupe. Exactly 28 years, the theater announces the production rarely
performed Opera by Stravinsky’s “Mavra”. By the way, in memory of the first production
the main hall of the theater now bears the name of Stravinsky.

“I love you “Helicon”, because
what in his repertoire not only the “hits”, but such rare operas in
Moscow, and in Russia, nowhere else will hear!”,— said Evelina Bledans
before the show.

The birthday of “Helikon-Opera”
in the Opera “Turandot” was made by Marina Karpechenko, Xenia Lisanskaya, Vitaly
Serebryakov and other stars of the theater. Artists of the choir embodied in citizens,
of the guards, the maids of Turandot, the messengers, the assistants of the Executioner. The role of the Elders
the students of the Russian Academy of Theatre arts (GITIS) and the stewards
theatre, which also played a personal guard of the Emperor. And directed the performance
renowned Maestro Vladimir Fedoseyev.
