Yesterday evening was the Banquet, dedicated to the birthday of Nikita Mikhalkov. It was expected that the festival will be held in the close family circle, however, as a result, the guests who came to congratulate the Director gathered a lot more. While the guests were gathered was a light buffet.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the speech of Nikita Khrushchev symbolically executed in front of their relatives and closest friends the song “the Shaggy bumblebee”. Music from the film “Cruel romance” has already become a kind of “calling card” of Mikhalkov.

The birthday boy was throughout the evening unusually cheerful. In the company of his daughters: Anne and Hope, the legendary Director famously danced on the dance floor to the fiery Gypsy motifs.

One of the most original gifts presented to Nikita, his son Artem. He gave the Director an antique book with a very interesting history. “Artem found in an antique store or a book written by his grandfather — Vladimir Mikhalkov called “Why America turned out well”. The fact that he was from a noble family, and in 1917 Vladimir moved to Pyatigorsk. There he was engaged in poultry farming and wrote the book, which went to Artem autographed by the author!” — said Tatiana. During his toast Artem has read portions of the book than a very amused audience.
