Nikita Mikhalkov introduced stars and their children with uncle Stepa — the famous literary character invented by his father, poet Sergei Mikhalkov. It happened at the opening of the exhibition “Uncle Stepa –
80” that GUM together with the Russian Fund of culture was timed to the anniversary of the publication of the first story of the beloved children’s hero of several generations in our country.

“Despite the fact that uncle Steve had turned 80, he is forever
will remain young, because he is constantly around kids. — smiled at Nikita Mikhalkov Uncle Stepa was, of course, my favorite character. All his adventures happen in my
eyes: he lived with me, existed in my life organically, was a member
family. I love and appreciate, because the prototype of Uncle Stepa himself was Sergei Mikhalkov.
