Sunny and +24, the sea calm. The weather pampered
the nature of the famous Moscow guests on the opening day of the first international
film festival “Eurasian bridge” in Yalta. All evening during a ceremony in
the concert hall “Jubilee” performed by the Symphony orchestra sounded
melodies of legendary films shot in different years in the Crimea.

Symbolic was the first Overture from the Soviet film
“The children of captain Grant”, which was shot here 80 years ago. In the same way as heroes
this film travelled to the different continents, the organizers of the festival
want to link East and West, European cinema and Asian tradition and avant-garde.
That is why the competition of feature and documentary films there are
tape about different generations and cultures. And the bridge in the logo and the name of the festival symbolizes the infinite
movement between different countries and even continents.

Nikita Mikhalkov, who stood at the origins of the festival, not
admits that the plans of those who invented the “Eurasian bridge”, ambitious –
to revive former power of the Yalta film Studio. Indeed, in Soviet times there
such films as “prisoner of the Caucasus”, “pirates of the twentieth century”, “Man with
Boulevard des Capucines”, “Ilya Muromets”.

Nikita, by the way, amused the audience when I remembered
his youth. In past years, the recognition of the master, he loved to play on
the audience was so into it that many in the audience simply fell asleep from
fatigue. But one case has helped Nikita with a sense of humor to appreciate this situation, when a boy suddenly raised his hand and asked: “Uncle, but

Petrenko and Kristina Brodsky, who came with the whole family in Yalta, because the girl
name is Sofia Carolina. By the way, when the acting pair, along with her daughter were in
