“Drug” capsule collection for Moschino was the cause of another scandal in the fashion industry.

The theme of the special collection, Jeremy Scott steel medicines: handbags, backpacks and dresses with pattern in the form of tablets or in the form of packing from-under medicines could be seen at the fashion show spring-summer 2017 in Milan. Capsule line immediately appeared on sale in selected stores in the world, including the us Nordstorm.

When the collection was shown at fashion Week in Milan, one of fashion critics did not take it seriously. In the end, the creative Director of Moschino has always been known for his love of kitsch. However, once the capsule was on sale, it was immediately criticized by “mere mortals”. Society simply did not appreciate the creative idea of a designer. The customers of the boutique was not thrilled with the “drug” theme. Some of them even started to argue that the collection and glamorize idealizes the problem of drug addiction. For anybody not a secret that a large percentage of the US population firmly “sitting” on painkillers and opiates.

After complaints from buyers Department store Nordstorm seized the entire capsule from the market, both offline and online. Despite criticism, the controversial collection can still be bought in the Department store Saks.
