The Idol star, daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, told the publication that she knows that on the Internet she is called “nepota” (a term for a person who is believed to have begun his journey in the relevant industry based on who his parents are).

“The internet seems to care a lot about these things. People will have preconceived notions about you or how you got there, and I can say for sure that nothing will help you get the role, except that you are suitable for this role,” said 23-year-old Lily-Rose, explaining that everything is not as simple as it seems. “The Internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who do the casting.
