“I’m not an alcoholic, I’m a cheerful drunk. I like this definition more. I drink, but not much. The thing is that a lot of work, and work in a state of intoxication is wrong. There have been some cases when because of the alcohol I been late or missed a meeting, and, of course, disgusting. I don’t drink heavily because I’m on the third day it becomes bad. It’s poison,” – said Efremov.
According to the actor, his alcoholism is more of a legend, not true. Yefremov also noted that a huge influence on him has a wife who leads an intense fight against the bad habits of a spouse.
Beloved Michael Sofia affects him not only in word but in deeds. “She can give me a slap, but she can. It’s not much. Although one day I accidentally pushed her, she fell and broke her arm. It was not intentional, but then I really begged for her forgiveness, gave flowers, sweets,” – says the artist.
