“Yes, I know that I have an impeccable reputation. But actually, I’m a terribly good liar. Anyone can cheat!” 2017
The Fassbender devilish charisma. That is why the Directors are lining up behind him in the queue. And some give it at once in two roles — as Ridley Scott in the movie “Alien: the Testament,” has just released. We can only guess what else to expect this mysterious gentleman and one of the most desirable men in the world.
— Michael, why, in your opinion, the audience continue to like horror movies about aliens, androids and uncharted alien worlds?
And people like scaring them. Personally, I nearly died of fright when the child looked “Alien” in 1979. I don’t know why the parents allowed me to watch it. Maybe she saw in him not only horror, but something more subtle and interesting. Anyway, this movie had me a very strong effect. I think it is no accident people experience a sort of primal fear when watching these movies. In fact, the screen no not the aliens: they are human beings, not as adopted, biologically evolved.
That’s why people are scared. And what happened to them will happen one day? (Laughs.) And someone — again! I’ll just be a synthetic Android! The idea that inside us there is a parasite, which at any moment can get out of it, using man as his refuge, — that this idea serves as a trigger primal fear that appears to us when we watch “Alien.” Our own nature becomes our enemy! It would be like to make someone in the light, and then die from it. Movie even invented in order to give people the opportunity to be the most secure way to origenate from fear and to get rid of excess adrenaline. (Laughs.) To feel fear, to be scared — part of the game, part of the fun. And someone should always it is a pleasure to provide.
