Director Rob Marshall, who directed the tale “the farther into the forest…” intends to repeat the success of this project, because in the new film, for which he was taken, he collects the same castes. So, for the new adaptation of the fairy tale “Mary Poppins” the Marshal has already attracted Emily blunt. The actress will embody on the screen the image of his beloved nanny.

Today it was announced that blunt will be joined by 67-year-old Meryl Streep.

The strip is ready to play a cousin of the famous nanny and talks about participating in the film.

The script was written by David Magee (“finding Neverland,” “Life of PI”) on the basis of the other novels Pamela Travers of Mary Poppins. The film will tell about how the nurse magically returns to the Banks family and discovers that her pupils are grown up and had children of their own who need a babysitter.

In addition to these two stars in the film we will also see Lin-Manuel Baegu and John Deluca.

Note that Emily and Meryl previously worked together. The actress starred in the film “the Devil wears Prada” which, in fact, blunt has opened to the world.

Premiere of the new “Mary Poppins” is scheduled for December 2018.
