Actress and state Duma Deputy is engaged with his sons in a special educational program. Maria Kozhevnikova visited the Rehabilitation centre for children and adolescents with disabilities and promised to share a technique, which teaches their children.

Young mother Maria Kozhevnikova is not limited to charitable activities on the territory of Moscow and Moscow region. In each region, where it happens, be sure to find time to communicate with children, especially if they need help.

Last week Kozhevnikova visited Cherepovets. And the first place she visited was the Rehabilitation centre for children and adolescents with disabilities “Overcoming”. This is the only and unique institution, which is located in the Vologda region and is engaged in the rehabilitation of children with three months from any, even the most difficult diagnoses. Annually through this center is 700 people.

Great attention is paid to correctional-developmental environment, social support of family, psychological and pedagogical examination of children and their rehabilitation. There are daytime groups which enable parents to work and children to communicate in a group.

“Honestly, two days were difficult and intense, – shares with “StarHit” the actress Maria Kozhevnikova. But when I arrived at the centre was warm from the smiles of children, in spite of the sometimes complex diagnoses, the guys smile. They talk about the centre as your home. And indeed, watching the teachers work with what love, attention and patience they deal with each child as focus on the positive of their parents, there is no doubt that together they will overcome all ills! The vast majority of children experience significant improvement in physical condition, and many recover completely and go to school in regular classes. She was able to gather around him the same dedicated people who are fighting for every kid, putting him in strength and spirit. Kowtow to all the staff and of course success! And I will definitely be back in the near future, as promised to bring as a gift the Russian educational program “Clever”, by which she engaged in with their children”.

Also, the center conducts serious work with parents: training and workshops, and provides psychological support. There is a program of creative rehabilitation, social services at home for children with disabilities. Social workers come into the family and help parents not only to care but also in child development. During a visit to the Rehabilitation center Maria got acquainted with various techniques that are used in their work the specialists of the center, talked with children and their parents and gave gifts.
