Leonardo DiCaprio is no stranger to reincarnate on screen characters that really existed in the past.

In the near future Oscar-winning actor will once again try on the image of the other person – Leonardo will become the inventor of a musical style called “rock’ n ‘ roll.“

DiCaprio will embody on the screen of the pioneer of the music industry of the 1950-ies of producer Sam Phillips, to whom the world owes appearance on the stage such stars as Elvis Presley, johnny cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others.

Producer of the film will be occupied by DiCaprio’s Appian Way co-production with Paramount.

The script of the film will be written based on the biographical book by Peter Guralnick “Sam Phillips: The Man WhoInvented Rock ‘N’ Roll”.
