Kylie Jenner announces collaboration Kyiie Cosmetics and Balmain, the debut of which was at Paris fashion week
Kylie Jenner is expanding its Empire.
On Tuesday, the 22-year-old makeup Mogul announced a collaboration between Kylie and Balmain Cosmetics. According to a press release, the collection Kylie x Balmain will be presented during the show ready-to-wear French luxury brand Paris Fashion Week in the historic Opera Garnier on Friday.
“About a year ago with Olivier, we decided to join forces to collaborate on an incredible makeup collection that will be used exclusively at the fashion show Balmain Spring-Summer 2020 in Paris this year,’ said Kylie. “I’m honored to work with Olivier on creating makeup for models, presenters show. The collection that we have created, full of really beautiful shades that you can mix and match to create everything from bold images in the style of the runway until soft and cute glamour”.
According to a press release, the collection Kylie Balmain X includes two signature Kylie Cosmetics, glossy ($16) and a matte lip gloss set ($29), as well as limited edition palettes KyShadow Palette with 9 trays ($42). Kylie announced a partnership in Instagram, sharing a picture from the campaign on Tuesday. In the photo, the star poses with Balmain creative Director Olivier Restinga. Her holographic mini dress with sequins and purple eyeshadow, while Rusting dressed in a simple white jumpsuit.

And the partnership makes sense — Kylie (which seems to have teased the launch by posting OUTN Balmain on Instagram last week) and her sisters are close friends with the 34-year-old fashion Mogul and longtime supporters of his projects.
“I’ve always been a big fan of the work of Oliver for Balmain,” said Kylie in a statement. “His designs are so unique and whenever I wear one of his pieces, I feel confident and beautiful and I always wanted my fans to feel when they wear Cosmetics Kylie”.
Kim, Kanye, Kendall and Kylie all starred in campaigns for Balmain, Kendall regularly shot on the runway of Balmain, and in 2016 the meetings with Kim and her husband Kanye famously wore coordinated metal images made by order of the Parisian fashion house.
