Ksana Sergienko introduced a new clip, the plot of which decided to take from real life. She spoke about the pain of loved ones can cause each other.

Ksana Sergienko became known to the Russian audience thanks to the participation in the third season of the popular TV project “the Voice”. Then the artist was in the team of Dima Bilan. After that she was invited to participate in the show “Just exactly” where she was transformed into different pop artists.

Now ksana Sergienko performs as a solo artist under the alias XAN, and preparing to release their second album, the English-speaking project Oxzana – alternative metal. Today was the premiere of the new video Xan – “pinky”. The singer told of the unseen.

Ksana, what a story lies in the video? Who was the author of the idea?
I wanted to show a story associated with me. The feelings that I have killed the man for some time. It is clear that the clip is all metaphorical. But it was important to show that if you kill the love of another person, in the end you destroy it and yourself. Implemented the idea of an American cameraman and directed by Arie Ohayon. This is not our first collaboration. We tried to do something emotionally strong, and beautiful. Location we chose the summer estate of my friends, family, Donald and Tatiana Vaccaro, Connecticut, USA, for which they thank you.—
You never had a creepy – lifeless body, blood?
When hurt, it seems that you’re bleeding, tearing you up inside. In the clip, all presented visually. It was not easy to remove at the end of October, the water in the pool was only 3 degrees. Moreover, a heavy storm instead of the two scheduled days worked three.—
Ksana, just the clip for you autobiographical, how do you personally cope with emotional pain?
Sometimes we make things familiar to us and do not think that vulnerable loved ones. I also did towards the young man, without noticing it. Perhaps my senses were impaired. I killed love. The realization came then. My clip is the apology to the person I hurt. In it I showed that also suffer.

You have long lived in the United States and established alternative rock band. As you now combine work on two projects – with the team and a solo career?
There are fans who know me as the leader of the group. Oxzana – performs alternative metal. Ksana – is also me, but in the Russian version, and other musical material of course. I think that sooner or later two images together. In the meantime, it’s just a manifestation of my faces in music.—
We can say that one focus on the West, and another in Russia?
The project Oxzana was born in 2010 when a contract was signed with the British label. Then I lived in new York, so, of course, sang in English. Now in Moscow recorded their second album it will be in English and in Russian.

How did you decide to move to Russia? Or now you are living in two countries?
I came to try their hand on “the Voice.” After that, you can say, plunged into the Russian show business is showered with invitations, concerts, “Just exactly” and so on. Looked back – that was two years ago. Of course, I’ve been in the US, where there was a young man. But long-distance relationships are still a challenge. In the end we broke up. Now, more I live in Moscow, but new York my youth and becoming. Of course, I go there quite often for work and for personal reasons. —
Tried his hand in the American version of “the Voice”?
In 2014, I came to the blind auditions in the United States. But then I decided to go to Russia because I wanted to catch it! In September I even got a call from the Ukrainian “Voice”, but had to be abandoned.—
What has changed after this project?
I am glad that I became closer to my mom! I felt free, not clinging to the relationship, the young man, although I never depended on anyone. I sucked the cycle of work, there was no time for personal relationships. I think I began to devote more time to music, what I want to tell.—
Someone from “the Voice” now have a relationship?
Almost all participants of the project. “The voice” is one big family.

What, in your opinion, the difference between the Russian show business from the us?
In the West, if you have a contract with any music label, you’re doing creative work. Your image works a big team, it has become a kind of business. Of course, I haven’t been in American show business, I only have, so to say reasonable. I think it’s important to keep your audience than to be popular. —
As you gain your listeners?
All way! My Forte is live performances. There’s a different atmosphere, things get fun.—
I understand that now you are focused on a career, what about your family?
Now I don’t think about it. I think it ought to come of itself. I’m not one of those people who are looking for someone specifically. Mom a long time ago wound up the conversation, but then realized that it was useless. Recently, my older sister had a son. —
And you do want children?
While I look at his nephew and was moved. I’ve never seemed nice to care for the kids, and now beginning to enjoy myself. For me this is a breakthrough.
