Socialite Kim Kardashian has never hidden his Armenian origin and was interested in events in the country.

The last time Kim with some family members visited Armenia three years ago, her visit was timed to the day of memory of victims of the Armenian genocide. Now, Kardashian has not remained aloof from the mass protests in Yerevan, due to the fact that former President Serzh Sargsyan, who worked in this position for 10 years, became Prime Minister. Now is actually the position in Armenia and the country’s population were strongly against the appointment. On the eve protesters succeeded Sargsyan resigned, and on the streets of the capital began a real holiday.

“See how the Armenians are United in peaceful protests to bring about change is inspiring. This is a historic day for Armenia. I posted this photo because this woman touched my heart, and for me it is the heart of all the mighty Armenians!” wrote Kim on her blog.
