Actress keira Knightley has admitted that excessive attention of photographers drove her to a nervous breakdown.
Increased attention of the paparazzi, sometimes bordering even pursuit – something that sooner or later faces any celebrity who has achieved success. Keira Knightley has experienced it early in his career, in 2003 – then the whole world rocked the first part of the franchise “pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black pearl”, suddenly made Knightley a big star.
“At that time, any photos of young celebrities have been very valuable if they carried negative. These reporters followed on the heels of Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse in the early 2000s. Even if you have not had mental health problems, paparazzi trying to push you to doing things that in ordinary life, is not peculiar to you” said Kira in a fresh interview for The Telegraph.
Also, the actress said that she, as well as actress Scarlett Johansson, has experienced a real crime from the paparazzi – they pushed her car off the road to photograph the reaction of the stars. Knightley admitted that he was ready to kill them, “I said kill them, and they said they will get more money”. After such cases, Knightley decided not to play in large-scale films, which can again make her mad attention from the paparazzi.
