For several months, the world has been wondering , what's going on with Kate Middleton. Finally, the Duchess of Cambridge herself made a video in which she admitted that she has cancer.

The diagnosis was made after abdominal surgery, which took place in January 2024. For Kate, the doctors' words came as a real shock. So it took her a while to come to terms with the situation.

“This has of course come as a huge shock and William and I are doing our best to process this and resolve this issue privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this took time. I needed it to recover from major surgery and begin treatment. But most importantly, we needed it to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that they could understand and reassure them that I'll be fine.”

Recall that on January 9, 2024, Kate turned 42 years old. She and her husband Prince William will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary on April 29.
