The Russian participant of the music contest Yulia Samoilova officially banned entry to the territory of Ukraine.

Hours ago security service of Ukraine released the following statement: “the security Service of Ukraine forbade entrance on the territory of Ukraine the citizen of Russia Yulia Samoilova for a period of three years. The decision was made on the basis of the data on violation of legislation of Ukraine”. The violation refers to the visit and the address of Samoilova in the Crimea in 2015.

Julia previously admitted that the performance at the “Eurovision” is her long-cherished dream, she is happy to represent Russia at the music competition. The reaction of the 27-year-old singer on today’s news is still unknown.

In turn, the press service of the First channel, which chose Samoilov was going to broadcast the show, said: “In that case, if Ukraine does not allow Julia Samoylova to participate in “Eurovision” next year, regardless of the venue of the competition, Russia will be represented by Yulia Samoilova”.
