Rostropovich and Vishnevskaya lived in the house №17 in the Newspaper lane in 1955. From here they left for forced exile. This also drove back Home.

Sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov captured spouses hiding from the rain, symbolizing the difficulties of life, who together overcame Rostropovich and Vishnevskaya. Interestingly, a memorial plaque was accompanied by a mystical sign. When the Board removed the cloth covering her, at this very moment, the rain has gone!

At the unveiling of the plaque dedicated to the 90th birthday of Rostropovich, his daughters Olga and Elena admitted that the yard in which they grew, changed. However, the memory of their famous parents are still alive.
