In the 68th international beauty contest “Miss universe – 2019” was attended by representatives of 90 countries.

The results held in the weekend of the contest celebrates the victory of South Africa – a native of this country, 26-year-old Zesibini of Tunzi was recognized as the most beautiful. Second and third places went to representatives of Puerto Rico and Mexico, respectively.

Tunzi at home is known primarily as an active fighter against inequality between women and men and discrimination based on race, with which Zesibini had to face personally. In his speech, the girl said that only joint efforts can bring about a change in the world: “I believe that everything that we put into the Universe always comes back to us, we must all work together to end gender-based violence and other problems of our world. For a long time, to the dark-skinned girls were biased, but now we are gradually moving to the fact that society is changing and girls like me can finally find its rightful place in it, they will be able to feel confident and to understand that they are beautiful.”

Among the competitors of Tunzi there was no Russian Alina Sanko – the winner of the contest “Miss Russia – 2019” failed to obtain a U.S. visa. The girl will have a chance to represent our country at no less than the famous beauty contest “Miss world – 2019”, which will be held in London at the end of the week.
