March 14 at the age of 76 years died the eminent English theoretical physicist, cosmologist and science popularizer Stephen Hawking. In Cambridge held a memorial service, attended by friends and relatives of Hawking, and British actor Eddie Redmayne, who played him in the biographical film of 2014 “the universe Stephen Hawking”.

Farewell to the Hawking was held in St. Mary’s Church on the territory of the University of Cambridge, where Hawking for more than 50 years, he led their research activities. Ashes of Stephen Hawking will be buried in London’s Westminster Abbey near the graves of Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.
