Hollywood actor Idris Elba has confirmed his participation in the series “the Dark tower”, which is based on the eponymous mystery novel king of horror Stephen king, written over thirty years ago and pereizdanie in the early 2000s.

Producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer thought that the Idris is the best candidate for the role of Roland deskana, who in the first film adaptation was played by Clint Eastwood.
