On our website there are lots of instructions, dedicated to the decoration of Easter eggs. And everyone can choose something for themselves. Suppose you have already decided what Easter eggs you want to make. Now we need to consider how to apply this beauty. You must agree, the original Easter eggs don’t look very good in the usual plate.
In this article we will explain how to make a custom Easter basket with your own hands.
Materials and tools:
- copper wire with a diameter of 1.5 mm
- copper wire in diameter 0.5-0.8 mm
- masking tape
- tontogany
- pliers
- deep plate or bowl
How to make a Easter basket with your own hands
Take a deep plate, a bowl or other suitable container and turn it upside-down. Cut a piece of thick copper wire of such length that it can be wrapped on the diagonal, crooking with a few centimeters inside the bowls.
Prepare two same length of thick copper wire, and position them to form a star with six rays.
Fold the ends inside the cups.
Secure the rolled edges with masking tape so that the frame did not move forward.
Wrap thin copper wire around the bottom of the bowl. Cut the wire, leaving about 5 cm stock.
Edge wrap the thin wire several times around one of the thick strands, then around the next. And so, until you return to the point from which you started.
Trim the remaining ends.
Repeat the previous steps, braiding a thin wire around the main beams, each time moving a few inches closer to the edges of the bowl.
Remove the tape, straighten bent into the ends of the thick wire and remove the wire frame with bowls.
Your wire basket is almost ready.
Now you need to bend the edge of thick wire to form small rings. Easiest way to do it with needle-nose pliers.
The last segment of a thin wire, the resulting slip rings. Protruding edge trim.
