The actress tries himself in the difficult horror genre.

Hope Mikhalkov began to shoot the youth horror film under the working title “Lost place”, where she performs in a new role — Director. The idea and the screenplay was written by playwrights brothers Presnyakovym that also made the producers of the picture — along with her sisters Mikhalkov and Catherine Komolova.

“This genre is fairly new to the domestic film industry, our creative team aimed to conduct a dialogue with teenagers and young people on an equal footing, and not from the perspective of adults. Historically, the genre of the teen slasher horror with elements of mystery – popular among adolescents and young people 16-25 years, and today they are self? the active? cinema audience. And yet between me and them formed the “age gap”, and we speak the same language, I want to do what they really interested in and what they don’t see the hypocrisy,” says Nadezhda Mikhalkova.

The plot revolves around a company of high school students: at the party one of my friends tells an urban legend about “lost place” in the cinema: nobody knows the number is, but anyone who buys a ticket, you die. Guys don’t take the story seriously, and the narrator’s mockery. But soon a series of tragic murders of friends forces them to think about the ominous legend and start his own investigation. While teenagers are trying to find a villain in the other world, the investigators look at what is happening in cold blood and suspected of crimes for each of the friends. They’re just trapped by fear and mistrust, the boys decide to challenge the Ghost “lost places”, but whether they are ready for the decisive battle with someone who is hiding under the guise of good?

Authors and the screenwriters of the film Presnyakov brothers, known for such works in a movie like “sex scenes”, “playing the victim”, “Europe-Asia”, talk about how the project was born. “We came up with a “Lost place” as a love story that invades evil, they say. — The heroes of the film are too young to treat evil seriously. And adults too immersed in a parallel reality, and therefore not in time to help teenagers. As a result, our heroes are left alone with the uncontrollable force, which ruthlessly destroys their loved ones.
