Some of the songs you wrote brother Ilyas. Do you enjoy writing or like to sing? How difficult it is to find inspiration for self-written texts?
We Ilyas work in a very close and deep dialogue. And this categorical division between music and poetry does not fit here. Sometimes he sends me musically, and I have it in poetry. And that’s cool. Sometimes I write exclusively in its whole history. So it was with the songs “Two” and “Ghost.” And it happens that I sit down and know what I’m gonna write the music. So it was with the “Little girl”, “Not about you”, “at five In the morning” and “Summer name”. I was born a certain line, I throw a tune, share with him your feelings, and then it’s up to him.
You have songs in the Tatar language? You feel a special emotion when performed? What a difference from the songs in Russian and how the language changes the attitude to the song?
I’ve sung a single song ever sang by my great uncle, it is useless. He was an amazingly talented person and was gone too soon. We Ilyas gave a second life to the song in memory of him. His songs in the Tatar, I have not. Singing in this language for me too personal, tender and dear, it’s hard for me to sing on it, it requires tremendous mental strength, exposure. While I prefer to keep it.
It is understood that after the star Factory the time has already passed, but still, what kind of relationship you had within the team? If there were problems, why were they there?
All as outside of the team. We loved each other – hated – hurt – forgive. We lived a whole life and almost went crazy. Being in a confined space, forget that there is something besides him. The senses are sharpened, all happy and sad at times stronger. This is a very difficult test. But I’m glad for this unique experience. I will never forget.
