Semyon Slepakov, one of the most popular comedians of Russian television and the most-cited representative of the genre on social networks, will participate in the festival “Jurmala Laima Rendezvous — 2018,” according to festival producer Elite Mulgrave. “Our festival welcomes good taste and quality humor, and we are very pleased that such a charismatic and talented comedian, as an artist, has joined our impressive program,” says Laima Vaikule, the Creator of the festival.
Latvian public knows the Seeds in many different roles. He’s a comedian, resident of Comedy, producer of many popular television series and sketch show in the past — the legendary captain of KVN team, which received important prizes including the Jurmala stage. But his topical songs – witty and bright, doing the artist’s endlessly interesting for the viewer. They will sound on the festival stage “Lyme Rendezvous”. The performance of the Seeds Slepakova will also join the Marina Kravets, a popular singer and comedienne, member of the Comedy Club.
The artist gained wide popularity thanks to the game of KVN. In the captain’s tenure as the team’s “Team of Pyatigorsk” he remembered the ability to tell the most sparkling jokes with a straight face. This feature is now his calling card.
