The actor received the award for outstanding achievement in cinema, and Amal could not hold back their emotions. She made a speech that touched his wife.
“I met George when I was 35 and I thought that I would remain a spinster. But then we got closer, hid it from everyone in my flat in London, and then I realized that you don’t want to be with anyone but him, no matter what. I couldn’t sleep when we were apart. I said that when I read his SMS or emails, I had a big smile. Five years have passed, and nothing has changed. He is the one whom I infinitely admire and whose smile makes me the happiest person in the world. My dear, when I met you, I found the greatest love in the world, which I hope will be eternal,” said Amal.
It is worth noting that the couple was issued a marriage in 2014, and they grow charming twins Alexander and Ella.
