Mexican tournament in 1986 was memorable for an outstanding performance of the Argentine, who scored two incredible goals, known as the “Hand of God” and “Goal of the century”.

The hand of God and foot of God
World Cup 1986 was the first time in my life that I watched and from that aired on television. This is my first lucid experience the soccer event called the world Cup. Still in 1982-m, which I, in General, also more or less remember, I was only 11.
Maradona in Mexico was amazing. He could not but admire adore football of the teenager such as me. Many years later, remembering the championship and the match, I can’t say that the first thing that comes to mind is injustice, unfair play and the like of the Association. Perhaps something like from the perspective of a distinguished game one individual player I’ve seen performed only by Roberto Baggio in the world Cup in the United States. Argentina in 1986, also had a number of brilliant players, but Maradona against this background was above all in the head, and as it turned out, even above the British goalkeeper Shilton.
The participant of the world cups in 1966 and 1974, the Argentinian Roberto Perfumo said of the match against England: “the Main task at the world Cup in 86 was a victory over England, winning the actual world Cup was secondary. Our goal was to beat England.”
The Argentines considered the match with England as an opportunity to get even for the defeat in the Falklands war of 1982. Whatever may be said about the fact that sport and football should be separate from politics, history (and world Championships) knows a lot of examples where it was quite the opposite. The political subtext, the desire to get even for events that had no relation to the sport — that’s where the background was a preparation for the quarter-finals England-Argentina Mexican world Cup.

(oddly, it begs the metaphor still
no one came to mind, at least not in public use),
considered the “best goal of the twentieth century”. Both scored by Diego Maradona.
The second goal is to describe does not make sense. No eloquence is not enough to describe what made Maradona, who beat almost the entire England squad, along with goalkeeper. This is a must see, especially the Internet, thankfully, provides just such an opportunity.

In a split second, Maradona accelerated and, after passing two opponents faced by a wall of English defenders.
