In the 90s, contentious issues were resolved rather to fight with his fists than at the negotiating table. Brawls in restaurants, stores, and on the streets was as much a part of life as the Brazilian series, which succeeded each other on television. In such a showdown was attended by Fyodor Bondarchuk.

Fyodor Bondarchuk, who may 9, marks 50 years in his youth, too, did not disdain participation in combat. In 1991, Bondarchuk, having served in the army, at the second attempt he graduated from the directing Department of VGIK. “We had a fairly friendly course, especially well-communicated “five” – Fedor, Avan, Ivan, Peter Rebane (now deceased) and me. That night we decided to party and went to a restaurant close to the Institute. Set the table – vodka, herring, potatoes, meat. Fyodor remembered in the army: he served first near Krasnoyarsk, then in a cavalry regiment in the Taman division, created for the filming of the battle scenes of the film by Sergei Bondarchuk “War and peace”.

The next morning I heard that all Gypsies for drunkenness and the fight was tied. The next day our condition after a stormy and eventful night left much to be desired. My head ached – whether from alcohol, whether the impressions received. And we still had to play at the theater in the play by the novel of Ken Kesey “one flew over the cuckoo’s nest”.
