Ever since Clare waight Keller’s friendship with Meghan Markle, interest in its collections, perhaps only increased. And although the Duchess of Sussex are not so often chooses clothes of the French brand, her wedding dress (and that Clare waight Keller designed this outfit) will be remembered by many.

However, it is unlikely Megan considers appropriate to try something from the current line of Givenchy couture. The collection is called Bleached Canvas (“Bleached canvas”), teetering on the edge between the intrinsic to the brand refinement and artistic experiment. By the way, the show was held at the Museum of modern art. The choice of location supports the concept of the show.

After the last couture show I wanted to use for the background of a blank slate, a white canvas. I needed a place that resembles a perfectly white box, with a smooth lacquered floors

— explained the designer.

Her idea of clean walls create contrast with the colourful things collection and lacquered floor echoed shiny fabrics.

Luxury brands continue to try to log in to the game unfolding on the field of fashion in Instagram. Like Armani, there appears a provocative latex, replacing silk and tulle when sewing the bodices of dresses and Pelerin.

Dresses made of colorful fringe (intentions maybe good, but get rid of the associations with the joy Mangano and her invention is still very difficult), jackets with only one lapel, the huge bow on the back — all designed to evoke a wow-effect, but still is slightly puzzling.

Comfort to the conservatives the second part of the collection, Clare waight Keller, is still perfectly able to Express the essence of couture with its reverent attitude to manual work and attention to detail.

Lots of lace, embroidery, intricate draping, subtle gradients, applications and networks to the end of the show almost displaces from memory latex leggings.
