Fashion week in new York continues to delight us with new collections. His vision for the season spring/summer 2019 has submitted the creative Director of Calvin Klein RAF Simons. On the show was a lot of star guests: front-row seats occupied, Kate Bosworth, Naomi Campbell, saoirse Ronan, Jeff Goldblum and many others, but on the podium shone a tireless Kaia Gerber (again!), Doutzen Croesus and Stella Tennant.

Declaring a course to fashionable reinterpretation of elements of American culture in all its manifestations (from horror to beauty), RAF Simons firmly moves at the specified position. Craft the creativity of the designer have already learned (and was even awarded for this prize by the American Museum of folk art) and now he has turned to yet another national treasure of the United States — film.
The inspiration for the new collection was the movie “Jaws” by Steven Spielberg. The influence of one of the most famous horror apparent on different levels: from the literal prints of posters to deep-sea depths that were used in the design of the space show. On the podium that evening was the styling of wetsuits, and prints that mimic the glare on the water, and asymmetrical skirts, scraps of fabric from which if severed by a shark.
Another cinematic initiation into the collection — “the Graduate” by Mike Nichols. From there, Simons took the more familiar silhouettes for fall jackets, pullovers and coats. Like Hollywood movies, new creations by Belgian designer trying to cater to the interests of a wide audience: there are sporty chic, and fashionable youth oversize, and animal prints for hunters trends and dresses for drama queen.

Of the accessories you should pay attention to shoes with contrasting piping at the sole (at least Simons and rethink their own invention for Dior cruise collection 2014) and braided bags with chains.
