Today at fashion Week in Milan the spectators were treated to a special show — a new collection has been to present the brand Fendi. The latter — which the brand developed by Karl Lagerfeld, who died February 19 at age 85. Of course, the fashion show was not without a touching deference to the legendary designer.
Part in the demonstration adopted the model who worked with Lagerfeld, including Kaia Gerber became the Muse of designer last year, and also co-author of the collection and the face of the latest campaigns the brand name Karl Lagerfeld. On the podium also appeared Bella and Gigi Hadid, Adwoa of AAA and others.
The seats in the hall of the guests of the show there was a little card with a sketch drawn by Lagerfeld, and date of death of the Maestro on the reverse side.
Before showing the brand has also released an official statement:
We are deeply saddened by the death of Charles, and wanted today’s show to honor his unparalleled creativity and eternal inheritance during the show today.
In Instagram brand also published a video in which the designer says (and draws!) what he was in the first day of work at Fendi.
Close to the creative team of brand people reported that Lagerfeld until his death was working on this collection, helping Sylvia Venturini, with which he was led by Fendi. She, by the way, could not hold back tears at the final bow.
The collection, despite the sadness of the moment, was imbued with life-affirming mood. If many designers opt for the fall collections brownish hues, reflecting the fading of nature, the Fendi began to say goodbye to Sunny yellow, orange and mint green shades.
The basic color of the collection, however still become cream, sand and light beige tones, complemented with bright contrast accents in monochromatic images shifted on the accessories and decorative finishes. The chief headdress was a cap with ear-flaps — a kind of compromise between street fashion and historically the key brand material — fur.
