Fashion week in Milan continues. And started definitely cheerful! The first show of the schedule played an all-star cast of models and spring-summer collection by Max Mara presented Irina Shayk, Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Joan Smalls and face of the brand — Omsk model Christina Griceite.

The show was held in downtown Milan in the historic Baroque Palazzo del Senato, built in the XVII century, and the models walked the long catwalk between the columns. Since the collection was inspired by Greek mythology and images of women warriors, the location is chosen strategically.

As you can see, no tenderness in the palette and lightness in shapes. The collection is based on direct clear silhouettes with a slightly exaggerated shoulder line in coats and suits, combination dresses and skirts with tight pants and “serious” colours from shades of brown, categorical black and white.

The most effective material, was of course the shiny skin. The compromise signed in the summer only in the addition of bright yellow and polka-dot print. Here it is, however, often appears in solid Trouser suits and dense coat. The visible details of the cut in the collection of steel straps on one shoulder, peplum variations and lace collars, and the most interesting accessory — sheer long gloves.
