Haute fashion show Couture Autumn-Winter 2022 by Schiaparelli Artistic Director Daniel Roseberry took place on July 4, 2022, along with the opening of the Shocking exhibition dedicated to the founder of the brand, Elsa Schiaparelli.

The woman who opened a boutique on Place Vendôme in 1934 was perhaps the most striking and eccentric figure in the fashion world XX century.

Schiaparelli invented many of these things that we still use in everyday life. This is, firstly, a zipper on an evening women's dress, and secondly, a separate swimsuit, which could take root only decades later. And, thirdly, trousers-skirt (in fact, today's culottes), in which, according to Elsa, you can do anything.

Elsa worked closely with the eccentric Salvador Dali. As a result, such masterpieces as a dress with a lobster and a hat-shoe appeared.
