People gathered this morning at the farewell to the tragically deceased journalist Sergei Dorenko, at the last moment learned that the memorial service was postponed.

One of the most controversial and popular Russian journalist Sergei Dorenko died at age 59. On 9 may he was riding on his favorite motorcycle in one of the capital’s tracks and suddenly lost consciousness, the motorcycle flew into the oncoming lane, Dorenko hit a concrete fence. However, as it turned out from examination, the death occurred before the impact the journalist had ruptured aorta. Today the widow Dorenko first told about his diagnosis, which was delivered in 2016 – aneurysm of the ascending aorta. He took drugs, but on the day of the tragedy, it seems, have abandoned them – he complained to his friend at high pressure, floaters before the eyes and General poor health, but still went on the road.

The farewell was scheduled for today, and then suddenly cancelled when at the cemetery Troekurov already managed to gather hundreds of people wishing to say goodbye to Dorenko. It turned out that the police refused to issue the body to the journalist’s widow. His daughter from his first marriage insisted on additional examination, as I suspect that my father’s death was not accidental – they accuse his widow of intentional poisoning.
