One of the participants of the show “Success” on the channel STS was the former participant of group “Chelsea” the novel Arhipov. For several years now the artist lives in America, where he performs as a rock musician. According to Roman, he knows why he came on the project. Roman, have you thought that you would pass to the final?
No, I didn’t think it would go this far. Initially, I wanted to come and introduce his new song. But somewhere during the second program I was involved and sucked me in competition with other project participants. To some extent I was probably most offensive of all to lose, because I’m a professional artist, and hence the demand twice more. It is not pride and ego, and the internal assessment itself. On the other hand, young children not hurt to give in, because for many of them is the first step to the big stage… When I called and offered the part, I was in America and was going to celebrate a birthday. I have mixed emotions and feelings. It took me a while to adapt. On the one hand, I took a step back, as if dropping to level down again become a participant, allowing yourself to appreciate… So I, in fact, are in a state of stress. I think that not everyone will dare at such act. I can say that I am glad to participate in this project because there is finally an opportunity to show himself in a new way. How do you experts? Have you seen the first episode?
Watched. Long enough, I know Philip Kirkorov, we worked together, and So I was familiar. However, this did not prevent them objectively relate to the valuation of my room. If I was poor and I was criticized that this approach would be fair. Still, it’s a competition, so personal relationships should play no role. Many of the participants are familiar with the members of the crew and producers, but demand all the same. No, wasn’t listening. I know that recently in Los Angeles held a battle of Oxymoron with American Dizaster, my friends organized… to be honest, I don’t like this genre of music. I believe that in our lives, and so enough of the negativity. I feel closer to the positive image of the artist, which gives people emotions when everything is gray and dirty. So I don’t really understand the art of insulting each other, although it is, of course, also it is the place to be, once the audience interested.

High on the project are undergoing a serious battle, and the casting is very difficult to pass. Many children participated in other TV shows, they just may not be so familiar to a wide audience like me. Of course, it helps me a part in “star Factory”, as well as all of my existing knowledge and experience. At the same time, I can’t say I feel head and shoulders above the others. My popularity is rather a burden as it adds responsibility.—
Whether or not to participate in such projects to budding artists?
Yes, of course, they are needed. First, it’s a chance to be shown on TV. Second, show there is an element of reality, which allows viewers to get acquainted with the artist and find out more about him as a person — not just a singing head, but as an interesting personality. Thirdly, a huge plus is that they let you sing songs. Moreover, it is to be welcomed. Don’t want to say anything bad about other projects, but when you are doing covers, don’t be a real artist… “Factory of stars” presented a huge number of artists, almost half of our show business there. The main thing starts after the project comes back on the scene, others in the theater, and some go further. I believe that the producer or Manager plays a big role in her musical career. Dealing with the press, organization of performances, the social network is very important.—
You maintain relationships with other members of the “Chelsea”?
We broke up like adults without conflicts. I’m friends with Arseny Borodin, regularly see each other when I arrive in Moscow. With Alexei and Denis communicate at least — everyone has their own things and projects, it’s not always possible. Recently reunited in one of the musical TV show — has performed the song “favorite”.—

Please, I have no complexes about my past. I never starred in films for adults. Yes, there are those who denies “idol”, but I am proud of my participation in this project. What was the most difficult when you started to conquer the American scene?
A lot of different problems, I can talk about it for hours. Not only the language and the accent, but the fact that you’re turning over a new leaf when you don’t know anyone and had to maintain its existence. You have spent time to assimilate and not to think, to live, but still need to convince the foreign public that you’re an artist… I went through a lot there and learned a lot. For example, there are legal nuances — in the very beginning of his career nobody will give a contract on good terms, I have to agree with the hard. But you don’t even think about it, just rejoice that you took. That’s why many Russian artists worked in the USA for many years, was not earning a penny. Like it or not, abroad in the first place is the business.
It is known that you have had a difficult period abroad. You said that you worked as a loader…
I took a step back, then jerk forward. In all the trials of life helps me belief in God is the only reason I didn’t give up in that period. Then I lost my job and nearly lost the roof over my head, left me girl. I was alone in a foreign country without a livelihood. I have only a dog and a bunch of Studio equipment. This probably lasted about five or six months, but it seemed to last forever. Until at some point I just joined the head and had the strength, then circumstances have changed.—
The novel, in the US you had to work many foreign stars, in particular, with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. What is it in life?
Richie Sambora is the kindest person, creative, with a terrific sense of humor. Few people are allowed to work together with musicians of such level. Like a real rocker, Richie in house guitar everywhere, even in the toilet, and even a piano and a bunch of “Grammy” is a very creative environment… by Bon Jovi I do not work, and met him several times in the Studio. We absolutely do not like, he’s small.—
Richie do you never compare?
No, I remember one time he said, “don’t You think that your colleague look like?” However, Richie and I found that I have so much reminiscent of Bon Jovi. He said I was younger and sing better. —

With Nickelback, Scorpions, Gothard, the drummer for AC/DC, guitarist of Alice Cooper, Tim Owens of Judas Priest, Randy Jackson… played with Rise Against, Yellowcard, Lostprophets, and many other teams. Not everyone gets to work with the artists of the world level… What you did to learn from them?
This is a very simple, quiet people, with their families and habits. None of them showed arrogance, or haughtiness. Most riders who then quoted in the press, even more shocking, so allow yourself, as a rule, the controversial young artists. Most of the people with whom I’ve worked have their own religion, whether it is Buddhism, Christianity or another faith. To artist was fun to watch, it needs to be filled spiritually. —
If you are after another way to treat the Russian show-business?

The only thing I did not have enough opportunities to perform live with the band, but that doesn’t make the show worse. If Sasha Ivanova nothing to gain here, for me it will be a big disappointment. Should not only music for discos but also for the soul. You know, I would like to do a “male” label, it seems to me that we lack such artists among young people – a real, sincere, slightly rumpled. —

On the contrary, is supported. I am constantly in touch thanks to social networks — you can always go to Instagram or Facebook to find out who is doing what… I Have things to do in Moscow, so come here often. I opened my own production company to produce videos. Over the past year has made over a dozen videos for Russian artists, including Olga Buzova, Nastasya Samburski and IVAN. So I don’t break relations with the homeland, and, so to say, studying abroad. Now I’m preparing an EP in English, it will be released in February. Will have the video for a collaborative song with Sasha Ivanov (IVAN), it is in Russian.—
Do you participate in the work on the clips?
Of course, I do video production and pick a team that will work on it, make suggestions. —
What are you impressions of the cooperation with Olga Buzova and Nastassja Samburski is one of the most talked about Russian stars?
They are quite adequate, the girls, live and real. Always amazed when scolded Olga Buzova. It’s like she is competing with sting or Aerosmith. I don’t think between Olga and other artists of her genre is a big gap. A huge plus Buzova – she is who she is. A girl with a broken heart, which makes what he knows. The audience loves her, and will love, because Olga is a real workaholic. Can’t say that her music is the Acme of perfection, but it’s part of the Russian reality… Nastasya Samburski, for all its originality, is also very close to the people. People understand that she shares his feelings through creativity.

In different ways, mainly through word of mouth. I have a large number of ties in the West, to do almost anything. It all depends on budget and desire. For example, for 250 thousand dollars you can remove Jared Leto, but whether this.

I will sing until my music listening. Fans often write me a touching letter in which you share the most intimate, for example, they say that my songs for someone to survive. Once it resonates in someone’s heart, I will continue to speak. —

Always respond to all the messages fans, except, of course, abusive. Communication takes a lot of time, but I find it important. Think they work for the audience – those people that make me an artist, because you can sing with friends at karaoke. —

As I understand it, you are not going to move back to Russia?
I believe that artists in the 21st century there is no citizenship. I just live where working on music, and many other performers. I don’t want to be perceived as a deserter or traitor, as do some narrow-minded people. I would like to show that our Russian performers for something in the West. Working in America, I never hid the fact that he was born in Nizhny Novgorod, and not, say, in Texas. Of course, it sometimes surprises foreigners.
