On Thursday it became known that this Sunday at 17:15 Moscow time will take place the premiere of the new show “Ice age. Experts were Tatiana Navka, Roman Kostomarov and Maxim Trankov and Ilya Averbukh, and the jury was headed by Tatyana Tarasova. The casting was attended by young athletes from all over Russia. Each of the coaches will get their team, which will be three singles players and three dancing couples.

The project will help talented young skaters to push for further career development. According to Averbuch, the winners of the show will support financially. Finalists will be one skater and one couple.

“Without false modesty we can say that the current stars of figure skating is children who are led on the ice by their mothers and grandmothers who watched the first seasons of “Ice age”. Those who in 2007 was five, today conquer the Olympic tops and the winners of major tournaments,” says Averbukh.

Averbukh also expressed the hope that the project will help to grow not one “future champion”.
