In 15 years of existence in Russia was the ELLE DECORATION interior magazine No. 1 source of inspiration and expert for anyone interested in design.
The award “Choice of the year” was awarded in two nominations: “the Object of the year” and “Professional of the year”.
The winners in nomination “Object of the year” was determined by online voting on the website of ELLE DECORATION. Readers chose the best works in the following categories:
- Furniture: Flexform, sofa Isabel, design Carlo Colombo;
- Kitchen: Snaidero, Kelly (design Massimo Jozy, the Gini), Look (design Michele Marcon);
- Plumbing: Grohe, water system Grohe Blue;
- Fabric: Dedar fabric Dalie Papaveri Tulipani;
- Appliances: Gorenje, Gorenje collection by Starck;
- Wall coverings: Anna Muravina, Wallpaper collection Tattoo;
- Flooring: Bisazza, collection of Wood;
- Accessories: Fürstenberg collection of tableware Omnia;
- Light: Axo Light, lamp, Mountain view, design Dima Loginov.
Winners in the second nomination “Professional of the year” selected by the international jury composed of the 25 editors-in-chief of ELLE DECORATION in the world. Winners were named in three categories:
- “Decorator of the year” – Albina Nazimova;
- “Architect of the year” – Architectural Studio “Acanthus”;
- “Designer of the year” – Max Kasymov.
Special award for contribution to the development of interior design industry in Russia was Elena Arkhipova, the company ARCHISTUDIO. Award “discovery of the year 2016” was awarded the interior KRASSKY. In addition, a special prize was won by Pop up Store of the company Asko, a space which was designed and decorated by the Russian designer Ekaterina Elizarova.

Leading the ceremony were: chief editor of the magazine ELLE DECORATION-Alexey Dorozhkin and TV presenter Marina Kim. After the ceremony this evening, guests enjoyed a performance of the Russian pop group “Reflex”. Musical accompaniment of the evening provided by DJ KOZAK.
Design of the statuettes for the winners was developed by the famous Russian designer Dima Loginoff, and his idea was brought to life by the Preciosa company is an experienced team of Czech designers, which is one of the largest world-renowned manufacturers, and occupies a leading position in the field of design and lighting. Partner award was the company “House of Porcelain” stores, the world’s leading manufacturers of porcelain, crystal, silverware and textiles. All present were treated to wines “Burnie” from old Swiss winemaker Renaud Burnie and his wife Marina Burnie. Official Decorator of the award was the company’s Lid’Eventhouse.
