Elizabeth II never tires to surprise the British. Despite
the fact that in April of this year the Queen celebrated her 90th birthday, she,
it seems that is not going to “wind down”. As before, she regularly inspects
riding the Park Windsor, conducts official meetings and participates
in photo shoots for fashion magazines.

It became known that the famous photographer Anne Leibovitz once again
had the honor to photograph the Royal lady for glossy magazine Vanity Fair. This time
the main theme of the Royal photo shoot were her favorite dog breed, the Corgi. The cover got the Elizabeth II, surrounded by four of her Pets: Holly, willow, Volcano
and candy. Unfortunately, last year it became known that the Queen no longer
is breeding dogs, that is, the Corgi — the last representatives of the dynasty. And the first four-legged favorite of Elizabeth of this breed, which appeared at the Palace in the distant 1949, had a dog named Susan. Probably why the British Queen decided
finally, take a picture with their Corgi for a magazine cover.

“The most beautiful thing in her our work together was the fact that almost all
ideas pictures belonged to Elizabeth. She certainly wanted to be photographed
with their Pets, and it was very moving. Shooting went incredibly
easy, I felt coming from the warmth of the Queen!” — told Leibovitz on the set.

Recall that recently in London hosted a gala evening in honor of
The 90th anniversary of Elizabeth. A Grand show was attended by 1,500 people and 900 best
horses from all over the world, which are specially brought to Windsor for the birthday girl,
which is known to be a big fan of these animals. In this year’s festival
was organized with a special scale. Special bleachers were constructed for 25
thousands of spectators with the Lodge for members of the Royal family: wife Elizabeth —
the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William, Prince Harry and Duchess Camilla
Parker-Bowles.
