93-year-old Queen Elizabeth II spoke about the situation with her grandson Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.

The scandal around the Duke of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the Royal court to convene an emergency family meeting, attended by all family members, including one of the perpetrators of the scandal – Prince Harry. His wife Meghan Markle is currently in Canada with their son. The Council discussed further actions of the family after the departure of Harry and Megan. Recall that some time ago the couple gave up the title and announced that it intends to live separately from the Royal family and to earn independently.

According to the results of the family Council Queen Elizabeth II made a special statement: “Today our family is very constructive discussion about the future of my grandson and his family. We fully support the desire of Harry and Megan start a new life as a young family. Although we would prefer that they remain full members of the Royal family, we respect and understand their desire to live a more independent life, while remaining a part of our family. Harry and Megan have made it clear that they do not want to depend on public funds in his new life. Therefore the decision on a transitional period during which they will be in Canada and the UK. My family will have to solve difficult questions, but I asked that the final decision was made in the coming days”.
