On the days the paparazzi managed to make a curious frame:
they took 91-year-old Elizabeth II, at a time when she famously turned the wheel of his car.
This photo was taken in the Windsor Park, when Elizabeth
returned from service in the Church. But the most interesting thing about this story is not even
the Queen she drives a car in a very advanced age, and the fact that she has no
a driver’s license. And yet, the police never discharged
her fine. This information appeared on the website people.com.
As it turned out, Elizabeth did not violate the rules.
By law, she is the only person in Britain who has the right
driving a car without a driver’s license. Although, really it does
does not mean that the Queen is not a good driver. Elizabeth learned a great
led in the years of the Second World war, when she was still a Princess. In the beginning
1945, Elizabeth joined the Women’s Auxiliary army with the rank
a Junior officer and carried out there duties of a mechanic and a driver. Of course,
for this she underwent a course of training. However, if she got any rights in those
the times, unfortunately, unknown.
Often Elizabeth manages
the car when it is in their country estates — Balmoral or
Sandringham. It was there that she, along with her husband Prince Philip, taught
driving a car and their children – princes Charles, Andrew, Edward and Princess
Anna. It is known that the Queen’s children, unlike their mother, have passed on the right.
So, Charles and Anna have successfully passed their exams in the spring of 1967. And the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II — Prince
William passed on the right the summer of 1999.
