Dmitri Hvorostovsky appealed through social networks to your fans and colleagues. The singer has announced that due to progressive illness interrupted a career in Opera. Soon all the speeches of Dmitry in the Opera house cancelled indefinitely.

However, Hvorostovsky will continue to participate in concerts and work in the Studio. “Singing is my life, and I want to continue to bring joy to people around the world!” — wrote the singer. The rest of the time, the artist intends to fully commit to treatment. According to Dmitry, he is very grateful for services rendered by his fans and colleagues support.

Hvorostovsky began to change the schedule of their performances in the early autumn. In late September, Dmitry he was forced to withdraw from several performances in connection with a designated course of chemotherapy. Then, he was optimistic and had planned a tour around the world. However, about two weeks ago, the doctors recommended him to avoid air travel and stay during the treatment in London. In early December, Hvorostovsky was supposed to debut at the Bolshoi Theatre in the Opera of Giuseppe Verdi “don Carlos”.

Recall that in 2015, the doctors gave Dimitri a disappointing diagnosis — brain cancer. After treatment in one of the best clinics in the world, the singer returned to the stage.
